Joe Carfagna, Jr, president of Leading Edge Aviation Solutions, was a moderator and a speaker at the National Aircraft Financing Association’s 39th annual meeting. April 20-23, 2010 in Scottsdale Arizona. NAFA is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to promoting the welfare of individuals and organizations providing aircraft financing and loans secured by aircraft, and to working with government agencies to promote a better understanding of NAFA members’ needs. NAFA also provides an educational forum for its members to share and gain knowledge with regard to financing, leasing and insuring general aviation aircraft.

At the annual meeting held on April 20 to 23, 2010, senior industry executives and expert panelists met to discuss relevant topics within the theme “Perspectives on the Past and Present: Is Growth Sustainable?” Joseph Carfagna was the moderator for the business jet/turboprop session and he and his panelists spoke on the topic of aircraft valuations including discussion of past and present price fluctuations of various aircraft types and models as well as residual values and residual value forecasting.

This year’s NAFA meeting was very successful with 220 attendees from 116 different companies attending to listen to and learn from industry experts.
