Joseph Carfagna, Jr., president of Leading Edge Aviation Solutions, LLC, served as a panelist at the 15th Annual Corporate Aircraft Transaction Conference held in New York City on June 21st and 22nd.

This annual conference is an educational event where various topics of interest to the aviation community are discussed relative to aircraft buy, sell and lease transactions. Frequent attendees are aviation attorneys, financing institutions, aircraft brokers and dealers, escrow and title companies, and other parties interested in aircraft transactions.

This year’s Conference convened some of the industry’s most seasoned advisors to bring attendees up to date on various topics. Joseph Carfagna served on a panel entitled “Bridging the Valuation Gap Between Buyers’ and Sellers’ Expectations: Remedies for Tunnel Vision.” Relative to their discussion, panelists addressed points such as: the current state of the market, protecting against unknown risks, and buying an aircraft out of bankruptcy or from a “troubled” seller.
